Models
This page is collection of photos taken from Models that I have built. Scale and Materials used vary throughout the projects. I really have a personal appreciation for building models. Experimenting with materials and construction techniques on a model scale, it gives I think a little more respect to what you are trying to construct in the real world and the choices you make along the way.
I love playing with light, making essentially, different light box models. On the other hand, making models to take exterior model shots in sunlight. I have a few pictures where I digitally inserted scale figures.
Portland Museum of Art addition. Light, circulation and sustainability were the lenses for the design.

A performance space, below the street surface of the museum addition. Natural light coming through a pond above the stage and slits in the ceiling (Street Level) Diffused, direct and reflected light were the lenses of this design.
